YEREVAN. – Yet another school in Armenia has been granted permission to teach in the English language.

The respective decision was adopted at Thursday’s Cabinet meeting.

Accordingly, the Anania Shirakatsi Lycee, in capital city Yerevan, may teach in English, and within the framework of the international curriculum designed for Grades 11 and 12.

Quantum College of Yerevan, and the Dilijan International School—which is a part of the United World Colleges (UWC) international network—already have the right to teach in foreign languages.

Pursuant to the current law, the number of such schools in Armenia cannot exceed four.
