YEREVAN. –There will be a sharp cold weather in Armenia on October 26 and 27, Emergency Situations Minister Armen Yeritsyan said at Thursday’s Cabinet session.

In his words, the temperatures will drop by almost 20 degrees Celsius in the Lori, Tavush, and Syunik Regions.

The temperature will go down in capital city Yerevan, too.

The reason is a strong Arctic cold front, which is moving toward Armenia from Siberia.

The ministers noted that this information needs to be disseminated to the people in timely fashion, so they can prepare.

Specifically, the Ministry of Agriculture advises the farmers to finish harvesting.
