Armenian News-NEWS.am has found out the identities of the seven people who lost their lives as a result of Monday’s tragic road accident that occurred in Armenia’s Shirak Region. 

Accordingly, the eldest of these victims was 60 years old, whereas the youngest was 20 years old. 

The fatality list is as follows: Driver, Razmik Mkrtchyan (born in 1955); passengers, Marine Nazaryan (born in 1959), Aramayis Shirazuni (born in 1954), Vanik Sargsyan (born in 1994), Davit Harutyunyan (born in 1994), Habet Sedrakyan (born in 1962), and Gayane Sedrakyan (born in 1965 ). The last two are spouses.

As reported earlier, seven people in a passenger minibus were burned alive in a tragic road accident on Armenia’s Gyumri-Yerevan highway on Monday evening, as the minibus had crashed into a truck. The minibus was on fire on the highway, near Khorom village. As a result, seven passengers were burned alive, whereas another seven were hospitalized. The Police regional department of investigation has launched a criminal investigation, and the truck driver, M. Vardanyan, is detained.
