YEREVAN. – A meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Hovika Abrahamyan and representatives of small business has kicked off in the government's building.

The merchants, who demand the suspension of the new amendments to Armenia’s Law on Turnover Tax, have been holding a protest action since morning.

A group of 15 protesters as well as heads of NGOs dealing with the problems of the small business was received by the Armenian PM.

The protesters standing in front of the government are demanding an immediate response from the government. Although the meeting started several minutes ago, they are chanting slogans urging the PM to reply immediately.
