YEREVAN. – The foreign investments into the economy of the Republic of Armenia (RA) were extremely low in the first quarter of this year, Haykakan Zhamanak daily reported.

“According to our sources at the RA Ministry of Economy, there has not yet been such a bad picture in the RA.

“[Solely] minor investments were recorded in energy, mining and agriculture, and a small amount was recorded in retail.

“The total investments are in the whereabouts of 10 million [US] dollars, whereas this figure was 120-150 million dollars in the same period in recent years,” Haykakan Zhamanak wrote.
