The President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, on Monday traveled to the Aragatsotn and Shirak Provinces on a working visit.

In Aragatsotn, the President attended the official opening of the kindergarten of the Sasunik community and toured the new pre-school. The kindergarten construction project was carried out with contribution by the community and sponsorship by the UK chapter of the “Hayastan” All-Armenian Fund.

Next, Sargsyan paid a visit and toured the fully-renovated and furnished Children’s Art School of Talin town. Prior to the implementation of this project, the school had no heating and one of its buildings was not in operation. But as a result of the President’s relevant instructions given during his visit to Talin in February 2013, the art school was fully renovated, and it was provided with the necessary material goods.

At the school yard, Serzh Sargsyan also participated in the unveiling of the Armenian Genocide Centennial cross-stone, which was made with joint efforts by the art school’s students and stone sculpting teacher.
