Turkish authorities are ready to provide one of its air bases to U.S. for attacks on the position of the Islamic State, an American officail said on condtion of anonimity.

The final agreement was reached during a phone conversation between Turkish PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan and U.S. President Barack Obama.

The matter may concern Incirlik base that is not far from the border with Syria, BBC Russia reported.

The Turkish army and Islamic State forces clashed on Thursday on the Turkish-Syrian border. Earlier Ankara said ISIS is responsible for a terrorist attack in the Turkish city of Suruc that claimed lives of 32 people.
