Two civilians were today injured in Berdavan village of Armenia’s Tavush province as a result of a shelling from the Azerbaijani side.

According to the sources of Armenian News - NEWS.am, the wounded were taken to Noyemberyan hospital, both with shrapnel wounds.  

One of the injured is Artik Maratyan, 62, while the other is Armen Hakhverdyan, who is about 35 according to our information.

Details on the wounded will be reported later.

The situation in Berdavan is peaceful at the moment. The shelling which lasted for several hours has stopped.

3 civilians were killed as a result of Azerbaijani shelling at border villages. Two of them were from Berdavan and one from Paravakar villages of Tavush province. All three victims were women, one of them 41 years old.
