An earthquake was recorded in Armenia, on Tuesday at 2:14pm, local time, near the border with Georgia.

The epicenter, however, was located in Georgia.

The Armenian News-NEWS.am reporter in the Lori Province informed that the tremor was felt quite strongly in Vanadzor, Stepanavan, and surrounding villages.

Our reporter in Gyumri informed that the seismic activity was felt also in the Shirak Province.

The underground activity was sensed also in capital city Yerevan, and in Hrazdan.

News service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations confirmed that there was an earthquake.
