The United Nations (UN) said the annual damage in world economy from global warming will make £1.5 trillion ($2 trillion) by 2030, Independent reported.

This will happen because of decline in productivity of the population. Due to the intense heat, it will be more difficult to perform many kinds of work, mainly in agriculture.

According to the edition, decrease in GDP due to the decline of productivity will be observed in 43 countries, generally in Asia. Among them there are India (annual damage is £340 billion), China (£188 billion), Malaysia (£188 billion) and Thailand (£113 billion).

As the author of the report Tord Kjellstrom considers, global warming is inevitable and will come approximately by 2050. It is noted that the countries with the low and average level of the income are more subjected to risks. At the same time the rich countries will probably be able to avoid such damage.

At the same time such countries as Russia, Norway and Sweden, can suffer from reduced productivity, on the contrary, due to the temperature drop during the winter.
