In summer, people are sleeping less than in winter. Why? Let us refer to the research of the British scientists. According to experts, the problems people have in summer with sleeping are determined by heat. Apart from that, the insects have a negative effect on the sleep, as well as late night parties, and use of alcohol .

The scientists conducted a survey , in which 2 million people took part. All the participants were asked if they had problems with sleep in summer . It turned out that in summer , people sleep 5.5 hours , whereas in winter  7.5 . Some try to compensate it with a daytime sleep or some energy drinks and nutritional supplements, reports the Informing.
