Russian President Vladimir Putin didn’t visit Martyrs' lane in Baku during his visit on Monday.

It should be noted that there are buried the organizers and participants of the Armenian pogroms in Baku on 13 - 19 January 1990.

Earlier, Putin, as well as Russian President in 2008-2012 Dmitry Medvedev, according to the official protocol offered by the authorities of Azerbaijan, visited the Martyrs' lane and actually, honored the memory of thugs and murderers who are called fighters for independence and territorial integrity of the country.

Dmitry Medvedev who is now PM has recently visited the Martyrs' lane which caused the righteous anger of the Armenian public. It is hoped that yesterday's decision of Putin not to visit it is not a mere coincidence and that Russian President finally disclosed the true role of the memorial complex in the capital of Azerbaijan.
