YEREVAN. – Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan on Tuesday held a meeting on the draft of a new Tax Code.

The Armenian PM said numerous suggestions from the deputies of the National Assembly, representatives of international organizations and civil society have been received in connection with the draft of the new Tax Code. These proposals, according to Hovik Abrahamyan, must be analyzed in detail and discussed before being submitted for the second reading in the parliament.

The participants discussed the proposals regarding a number of provisions of the new draft Tax Code. The Prime Minister stressed importance of intensive discussions on the draft Tax Code and adoption of the proposals, which will contribute to the improvement of the tax field, strengthening of a transparent, competitive field for business and will increase investment attractiveness.
