Office workers, as a rule, spend most part of working hours sitting and, thus, they cause irreparable harm to their health.

U.S. scientists conducted a research which showed that it is better to work standing than sitting at an office to preserve good health, Informing reported.

According to researchers, standing up for only an hour or half an hour will let you lose six times more calories than sitting. During their study, the scientists involved several dozens of young people whose working day has been divided into several parts.

During every period of time it was necessary to change position of the body. As a result, it was found out that the standing position is the best for losing weight.
