YEREVAN. - The military parade held on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Armenia’s independence showed that the military and political leadership of the country successfully keeps the promise of increasing weapons.

“The displayed weaponry was exclusionary for countries like Armenia. Some of the demonstrated samples have no analogues,” the expert noted.

In his words, the Iskander ballistic missile system included in the Armenian Army can be found only in Russia, which is the manufacturing country, while small number of countries has similar missile complexes. Apart from this, the Smerch complex was displayed for the first time.

“The demonstrated means of radioelectronic combat, which are of great significance in the conditions of current wars, certainly drew special attention,” the expert said.
