STEPANAKERT. – Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh) Prime Minister Arayik Haroutyunyan on Monday received a delegation, led by French National Assembly member François Rochebloine.

The delegation comprised the SPFA French charitable organization members as well as delegates from Paris and Rhône-Alpes region of France, the NKR Government informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Haroutyunyan underscored the French Armenians’ and French individuals’ participation in a variety of projects in Artsakh.

In addition, the PM expressed special thanks to Rochebloine for his active role in the political and social life of the NKR.

The French lawmaker, for his part, expressed readiness to always represent the interests of Artsakh in France, in the name of justice and peace and prosperity of the people of NKR.

Following the talk, the NKR PM and the guests from France attended the official opening of the renovated building of the kindergarten of Martuni town. This kindergarten was renovated with joint funding by French-Armenian and Russian-Armenian benefactors.

PM Arayik Haroutyunyan considered this work as a long-term investment in education and demography in Artsakh.
