The Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro arrived to Azerbaijan within the framework of his tour around several oil-producing countries, reports the VTV. Maduro will have meetings in Baku. He will meet with the President Ilham Aliyev to reach a mutual understanding regarding the stabilization of the world oil prices.

During an informal meeting in Algeria on September 28, the OPEC agreed to limit the oil production for up to 32.5-33 million barrels per day, but there are still certain restrictions on the arrangements for each country. The final decision should be taken at OPEC's meeting in Vienna on November 30. The cartel hopes that other oil-producing countries will join the agreement.

As reported earlier, the Azerbaijani Energy Ministry Zamin Aliyev announced that Azerbaijan will consider any decision made by the OPEC. At the same time, the Azerbaijani president in his interview with the RIA Novosti told that Baku is ready to unilaterally refrain from increasing oil production, without waiting for the decision of other manufacturers.
