YEREVAN. - Development and Maintenance of Armenian Culinary Traditions NGO with the assistance of Armenian Ministry of economy organize 3rd pan-Armenian barbecue festival on September 13 in Lori region.

This year the festival will be named When September Comes, after the famous movie. The lead actor of the movie, Armen Jigarkhanyan, whose bronze state depicting him making barbecue will be opened in Akhtala, will participate in the opening ceremony.

The festival will include a number of events dedicated to 20th anniversary of independence. A 20 meter manghal (metal fireplace for making barbecue) will be provided to the members of minorities living in Armenia as well as guests from Georgia, Russia and European countries, to give them the chance to come up with types of their national barbecue.
