YEREVAN. – The court hearing, into the case of former Police Major General Hovhannes Tamamyan will be held on February 16 instead of February 17.

Chief of the Police Force Criminal Investigation Department Tamamyan is under custody since March 24, 2011, and he is charged with abuse of power.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier, the investigation with respect to Hovhannes Tamamyan is over, Special Investigation Service (SIS) informed. SIS added that Tamamyan finds himself to be innocent. Also, the period of his detention, which is already extended four times, expired last month.
