STEPANAKERT. – The U.S. actively realizes a project of splitting political units of Eurasia by establishing a great Middle East. The six states of the South Caucasus are included in the project, director of the European Center of Geopolitical Analysis Mateusz Piskorski said during the international conference held in Stepanakert.

“The U.S. and Europe compete with each other, military operations in Libya are a vivid example of it,” the expert said adding that major European states, especially France, desire to preserve their influence in the international arena,” he said.

Washington’s main objective is splitting the whole region and creating a chaos, which is directed against China and Russia, Piskorski believes.

“The project is realized without the U.S. intervention but through its regional toadies. Turkey assumed this role dealing with the Syrian crisis. After creation of chaos in Syria, Washington the will spread chaos in Iran, the Caucasus and the Middle Asia,” the expert said.

The most unfortunate is the fact that this project, which contradicts the interests of the European Union, is supported by Poland and the UK. Another role is playing the Eastern Partnership program which is aimed at weakening government structures of the member-states.

“How should Nagorno-Karabakh resist destabilization? In fact, it is a global project, while the ways to resist should be sought in Russia and Europe,” Piskorski concluded.

The conference is held with information support of Armenian News-NEWS.am agency.
