The US president’s administration is notifying states where voter data was allegedly compromised and will take prompt measures to protect this information. This was stated by US President Donald Trump.

“In light of the completely new and irrefutable information that I revealed today, my administration is engaged in notifying the states whose election data was compromised by the PRC and many others. We will work closely to minimize the damage, and [we] are taking prompt measures so that sensitive voter data is protected, so that it can never be bought, hacked, and so that we never again have to witness a stolen election,” he said while speaking at the White House in a televised address to fellow citizens.

According to the American leader, the electoral process “is in very bad shape in many states,” and his administration intends to fix it. “We are also committed to working with these states and local authorities to help and patch known technical vulnerabilities before the midterm elections,” he added.
