US President Donald Trump on Wednesday again considered the possibility of giving new names to the Atlantic and Pacific oceans, as well as to the US state of New Mexico, after renaming Lake Ontario “Lake America.”

They could rename oceans like the Pacific or the Atlantic, Trump said at a Republican Party rally in Dallas, Texas, US.

Also, he suggested giving a new name to the US state of New Mexico.

They came up with an idea a few days ago that they think is appropriate. Texas state has a neighboring state, New Mexico, and they think it should be called “New America,” Trump said.

In addition, the US president pledged again to rename the Strait of Hormuz in his honor.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I’ll have an announcement, we’ll call it the ‘Trump Strait,’ and I’m sure the Iranian leadership will be thrilled with that," Trump added.
