In 2010, Iranian gas export volumes to Armenia will total 150m cubic meters, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Armen Movsisyan said at Dec. 22 press conference.

According to him, presently 1-1.5million cubic meter of gas is supplied from Iran to Armenia. Movsisyan informed that Armenia exports electricity to this country in return for Iranian gas. The minister underlined that Armenia makes seasonal exchange of electricity with Iran and Georgia. He stated that the pace of some energy programs’ implementation with Iran slowed down due to domestic situation in the country. RA Minister emphasized that projecting and construction works on Iran-Armenia oil-product pipeline will start in 2010.
