According to Anadolu news agency, the shipment of crude oil supply will resume from Kirkuk-Yumurtalik oil pipeline, Turkish Energy Ministry said December 22. The mentioned pipeline connects northern Iraqi city of Kirkuk to the Turkish Mediterranean port of Ceyhan.

The Ministery officials underlined that the oil flow in Iraqi side of the pipeline was shut-off due to an act of sabotage.

Iraqi Oil Ministry spokesman Assim Jihad stated that the sabotage at 55th km of the pipeline caused damage and a large quantity of crude oil spilled outside, Anadolu reads.
