VANADZOR. – Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) member, former Deputy Governor Edik Karapetyan has applied on Tuesday to run for the Vanadzor Mayor. 

To note, he was dismissed from his office recently as he was a PAP member. No. 30 election district commission head Tigran Papanyan informed about it Panorama.am website.

Besides, 24 candidates out of which six from the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) and one from the PAP will run for the city council members. The elections are scheduled for Sept. 5.

To note, earlier, the acting Mayor, RPA member Samvel Darbinyan and advocate and non-party member Karen Tumanyan decided to run for the Mayor.
