YEREVAN. – An event was held Friday devoted to the 20th anniversary of Armenia’s membership in the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), during which a stamp marking this anniversary was stamped and put into circulation.

The official stamping was conducted by FM Edward Nalbandian, Ambassador Andrei Sorokin who heads the OSCE Office in Yerevan, Eoin O’Leary who heads of the Delegation of OSCE Ambassadors, Transport and Communication Minister Gagik Beglaryan, and Haypost Company’s Acting Director General Hayk Avagyan.   

The stamp depicts Vienna’s Hofburg Congress Center—which is the OSCE’s headquarters for political discussions and meetings—and the flags of Armenia and OSCE. 

The stamp was printed in France, its face value is AMD 330 (approx. 81 cents US), and 40,000 such stamps are printed.
