YEREVAN.- Armenian parliament will hold an special session on November 21 at the request of the opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) bloc.

A source in parliament told Armenian News-NEWS.am that the decision was approved by Vice Speaker Hermine Naghdalyan who is replacing Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan since he is on vacation.

The objective of holding a special session is to introduce the ANC bill that envisions several amendments in the Electoral Code, the Criminal Code, and the Law on State Residency Registry. The bloc has gathered 48 signatures instead of 44 necessary for holding an extraordinary session.
