YEREVAN. – The US national currency’s first winter trading session was successful at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Monday.

The dollar’s average exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 407.50/$1 at the stock exchange; this is a 0.40-percent—or an AMD 0.57—rise from the previous trading session on November 30.

Monday’s sales totaled $1.85 million at the stock exchange.

In Armenia’s cash foreign currency market, the American currency’s buying exchange rate climbed all the way to AMD 407/$1, in some exchange offices, and it is primarily sold at AMD 409 /$1.
