Armenia’s motorways are primarily difficult to drive

YEREVAN. – All of Armenia’s highways are difficult to pass, for the most part, as of Monday at 10am, the Ministry of Emergency Situations informs.

Furthermore, the Berd-Chambarak motorway and several village roads are closed.

Selim Mountain Pass and some inter-village roads are difficult to drive.

Snow removal and road cleaning are in progress.

And according to the information received from Georgia’s Emergency Situations Department, the Stepantsminda-Larsi Highway—which leads to the Armenian border—is open solely for buses with chained wheels and which seat up to thirty passengers, and there is black ice on some road sections.
