Armenia may sign a document on intention to join Customs Union during the upcoming EurAsEC summit in Minsk, President of Belarus said.
“Armenia cannot join the Union neither today, tomorrow nor this year, even next year. But the issue will be raised during the Minsk summit, and I do not exclude that any document on Armenia’s intention to join Customs Union may be signed,” Alexander Lukashenko said.
He said Armenia would join the Union as soon as it completes the procedure and approves the regulations. Lukashenko said Armenia can “show itself and us the movement vector” in relation to EU or Customs Union, RIA Novosti reported.
“At the moment we are speaking about Armenia’s half step towards us,” he said.
