May 18-19 a nuclear safety international session will be held in Yerevan attended by experts from IAEA, U.S., Russia, Czech Republic and other states, IAEA Technical Cooperation Coordinator Andrey Chupov told journalists.

According to him, the session will put emphasis on technical aspects of nuclear security assurance in Armenian NPP. The event is organized by RA Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources.

Addressing the meeting today the RA President Serzh Sargsyan said that is aware of the IAEA mission’s visit to Yerevan postponing. He added that further delay of terms is unacceptable and it should take place in the mid of this May at the latest, as scheduled.
