“Fish cakes” are sold in Japan on Valentine’s Day

In this country, people often give each other the “kamaboko” fish cakes on Valentine’s Day. These fish cakes have the shape of a heart and are decorated in exquisite colors.

These fish cakes have a neutral taste and are suitable for eating with wine, beer, or tea.

A kamaboko pack, which comprises eight heart-shaped pieces, is sold for 10 US dollars.
