Wholesale oil prices in the world market increase slightly. As of August 24, 2009 oil prices surged up at stock exchanges. The official prices for oil futures are the following: in New York Mercantile Exchange the Light Sweet Crude Oil costs $74.37 (+0.48) per barrel and in London InterContinental Exchange Futures— IPE Brent Crude- $ 74.26 (+0.07) per barrel.
