A Turkish businessman, former president of “Barmek” company Hussein Arabul has gone to trial in Baku, Trend News reports.

The businessman was arrested May 29 on charges of trespassing Azerbaijan-Georgian border and offering a U.S. 30 thousand-bribe to a policeman. Arabul intended to go to Kazakhstan under forged documents in the name of Ahmet Arslan.

Arabul pleaded not guilty in the Court in Baku.

Back in 2007, the Court on grave crimes sentenced Arabul with 5 years imprisonment on parole and 1,370 thousand manat fine. He is not permitted to travel abroad unless he has served the sentence.
