YEREVAN. – Chairman of the opposition “Founding Parliament” Garegin Chugaszyan urged to continue the struggle started by “Sasna Tsrer” group, an armed group that has been seizing police regiment in Yerevan for 14 days.

“The main thing - the movement of “Sasna Tsrer” has started. From now until the release of the leaders of the movement from captivity, it will be guided from prisons and from the underground. Down with tyranny, long live a free and sovereign Armenia,” the statement reads.

On Sunday “Sasna Tsrer” members laid down their arms and surrendered. According to the National Security Service, the territory of police regiment was liberated.
