On March 24, regular consultations took place between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh and the Republic of Armenia. The parties involved into the consultations were the Deputy Foreign Minister Armine Alexanian and Felix Khachatryan, and officers of the relevant units of the Foreign Ministry from the Armenian side, and the deputy Foreign Minister Ashot Hovakimyan from the Artsakh side.

As the press service of the Artsakh Foreign Ministry told NEWS.am, during the consultations the parties discussed a wide range of issues related to the development and expansion of cooperation between the foreign ministries of the two countries.

Particular attention was paid to the issues of coordinated policy within the framework of international organizations and further expansion of cooperation in this direction. The sides also touched upon the situation in the process of peaceful settlement of the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict and exchanged views on a number of topical regional and international problems.

In the frameworks of the consultations, the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia Ashot Hovakimyan was also received by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh Karen Mirzoyan. The Foreign Minister noted with satisfaction the high level of the current cooperation between the Foreign Ministries of the two countries and expressed  confidence that it should be developed and deepened through joint efforts.
