The Armenian Ombudsman's office investigated 123 reports concerning supposed violations of the electoral rights.

Based on 25 written and verbal complaints, the Ombudsman’s officeorganosez discussions, met with the citizens and proved them with legal advices on the issued related to voting rights. The complaints of the citizens mainly relate to tearing, pulling off the campaign posters, and/or making notes on them, involving the pedagogical staff in campaigning in educational institutions, handing pre-election campaign materials and more.

The Ombusman’s office urged the state authorities to provide proper  explanations regarding the supposed violations of the electoral and voting rights. As for the cases that contained elements of crime, they were submitted to the prosecutors’ offices for taking measures in accordance with the procedures established by law.
