YEREVAN. –  We intend to carry out reforms in the field of 12-year education,  Armenian Prime Minister, first deputy chairman of the ruling Republican Party Karen Karapetyan stated during the meeting with voters in the city of Yeghvard, Kotayk Province on Saturday.

“We have a new plan: the first year of the 12-year education will be preparatory, during the remaining 11 years, children will also study business, finance, IT, robotics. This is the requirement of modern time. This means that after graduation our children will be more prepared,” Karapetyan said.

Asked what the government is doing in order to make tuition fees more affordable, the PM noted that they give as many preferences as they can.
