YEREVAN. – On his official visit to Turkmenistan, Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan on Tuesday visited the mausoleum of the first President of Turkmenistan Saparmurat Niyazov, in Gypjak village, to pay tribute to his memory.

Also, the Premier of Armenia visited the Turkmenbashi Ruhy Mosque, where he met with Grand Mufti of Turkmenistan Charygeldi Seryayev.

Next, and accompanied by Mayor Shamuhammed Durdyliyev of the Turkmen capital city of Ashgabat, Karapetyan visited and laid flowers at the Independence Monument of Turkmenistan.

Subsequently, the Armenian government delegation returned to Armenia.
