An unusual and tragic incident occurred Wednesday in Dsegh village of Armenia’s Lori Province.

At around 5pm, a huge stone rolled over while being hoisted with a crane truck at the stone processing plant in the village, and it fell on Sargis Antonyan, 51.

Dsegh prefect Garnik Hovsepyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am that the injured man died on the way to the Vanadzor town hospital.

In his words, Hovsepyan was a Vanadzor resident, and he was working in the said stone processing plant as a laborer.
