YEREVAN. – The foreign ministers of Armenia and Cyprus, Edward Nalbandian and Ioannis Kasoulides, have exchanged messages on the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

In his message, Nalbandian pointed to Cyprus’s special place for Armenia, as a friendship country, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. Also, he stressed that Armenian-Cypriot cooperation was built on solid foundations over the past quarter-century, and that the countries have a broad understanding on key regional and international matters. In addition, Edward Nalbandian expressed a conviction that the two countries will succeed in further developing and deepening relations.

In his respective message, Kasoulides stated that Cyprus and Armenia not only share common values and traditions, but are linked to one another by historical and cultural ties. The Cypriot FM stressed that Cyprus will continue working toward further deepening of relations with Armenia. Also, he highlighted that the two countries had created a solid foundation for active bilateral relations.
