YEREVAN. – Armenian parliamentary elections revealed misuse of administrative resources and oligarchic groups, Armenian Revival party said in a statement.

Vote-buying affected the results of elections, they said.

The party notes that for the first time in Armenia, political parties, through comprehensive coverage on television, were able to present their election programs, but the idea gave way to financial and administrative levers.

“The party declares that it will neither contest the election results, nor participate in any post-election mass events and rallies. The party congratulates and wishes success to all the political forces that have been elected to the parliament, and wishes efficient work for the good of the nation,” the statement reads.

According to preliminary results announced by Central Electoral Commission, Armenian Revival polled 3.71% (58,277 votes).
