Military serviceman Shiraz Sahakyan, who was wounded in Thursday’s land mine explosion in Tavush Province of Armenia, on Friday will be transferred to capital city Yerevan.
Choratan village mayor Varuzhan Baghmanyan, who is a fellow villager of the wounded soldier, told about the aforesaid to Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Sahakyan, 48, on Thursday underwent surgery at Berd town hospital, and his leg was amputated.
He is currently in stable condition, and his injury is no longer life-threatening.
