YEREVAN. – During its regular Cabinet meeting, the government of Armenia on Thursday approved the agreement for a 100-million-yuan (about US$14.5 million) relief fund from China. 

These funds will be used to purchase new ambulances. Also, some other forms of assistance are planned in the future; they will be recorded in a separate agreement.

The funds will be kept in yuans, and in the said relief account that will be registered at both the Central Bank of Armenia and the China Development Bank.
