YEREVAN. - Leader of Yerkir Tsirani (Country of Apricot) Party and mayoral candidate Zaruhi Postanjyan on Friday concluded her campaign in Yerevan’s Liberty Square.

She was welcomed by the voters with great enthusiasm.  In particular, on seeing Ms Postanjyan in her white suit, one of elderly fans exclaimed:  “Our apricot has come, apricot has come!”

Voters compared Postanjyan with Queen Parandzem and Joan of Arc. After embracing Postanjyan, she was accompanied to the stage with white calla lilies.
