President of U.S. Western Region affiliate of Hayastan All Armenian Fund, Maria Mehranian considers that US President Donald Trump will not recognize the Armenian Genocide.

She told Armenian News – NEWS.am that recognition of the Genocide is a work which is constantly being conducted by representatives of Armenia and Diaspora. 

"Recognition of the Genocide by this or that state is a big victory for us. But taking into account the character, form and style of Trump's governance,  I do not think he will recognize the Genocide. Of course, we met House of Representatives Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy and invited him to Armenia. And it is quite probable that he will come. But this does not mean that they recognize the Genocide," Mehranian said.
