YEREVAN. – The National Assembly (NA) of Armenia on Wednesday passed in the second reading, and in full, the bills which the government had submitted for approval.
One of these law proposals is with respect to making changes in government makeup, according to which the “Government Chief of Staff-Minister” political office will be replaced by the “Government Chief of Staff” discretionary office.
In addition, the government proposed to raise the salary of the head of the NA Staff.
After the respective voting, Parliament speaker Ara Babloyan noted that another special sitting will be convened soon.
This special session, which was held at the request of the government, ended.
