YEREVAN. - Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan on Wednesday received a delegation of special envoys from the foreign ministries of EU member states - Latvia, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Estonia and Sweden—headed by Special Envoy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Slovakia, Ambassador Dusan Dakho.

The Prime Minister underscored the importance of cooperation with the European Union. At the envoys' request, PM Karapetyan introduced the priorities of the Armenian Government, as well as the reforms and programs planned to be implemented in different spheres. Highlighting the need of improving the business environment and attracting investments, the PM noted that the legal, tax and customs administration and other reforms will be in the center of attention of the Armenian Government. In this regard, Karapetyan stressed the importance of exchange of experience.

The interlocutors also touched upon the ongoing EU-Armenia cooperation, the cooperation within the framework the Eastern Partnership program and other issues of mutual interest.
