YEREVAN. – More mass recreational events need to be organized in Armenia in summer, Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan said at Thursday’s Cabinet meeting of the government.

In his words, the more leisure centers and opportunities there are in the country, it will be that much more interesting for both the locals and the tourists.

In this connection, Karapetyan instructed municipal authorities and the State Committee for Tourism to submit proposals for organizing cultural recreation in towns, sports events, as well as summer camps in nature.

“The representatives of tour agencies also need to be included in these activities,” added the PM.
