The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) kicked off on Thursday.
This year the event is attended by 12,000 participants, including presidents of foreign countries and company heads. The delegation led by Vice Prime Minister, Minister of International Economic Integration and Reforms of Armenia, Vache Gabrielyan, represents Armenia at the forum.
The key events of SPIEF will be held from June 1 to 3.
Mr Gabrielyan on Thursday attended the discussion on European and Eurasian integration, during which he made a speech. He noted that Armenia considers European and Eurasian integration as complimentary processes, seeking to form formats through their successful combination, which will be applicable within the entire Eurasian area.
A presentation entitled “Reforms and new opportunities aimed at the development of Armenia” drawn up by the Center for Strategic Initiatives of the Armenian Government will be held on Friday.
